Antoinette had the honor of singing the National Anthem for President Bush's campaign rally at Lake Farmparks in Kirtland, Ohio on September 4th, 2004. After an invocation by State Representative Ron Young, and the Pledge of Allegiance by State Representative Jamie Callendar and his daughter, Antoinette was introduced by Master of Ceremony Mayor David Anderson. Antoinette's rendition of the National Anthem was warmly received by an enthusiastic crowd estimated at 20,000 people. Antoinette takes great pride in singing the Anthem with a slow, soulful, yet traditional style.

A large delegation of police officers, military veterans, and local officials saluted the flag and held their hand over their hearts while some even joined in to sing the Anthem. After a few brief speeches by state and local officials, and a rousing introduction by Congressman Steven LaTourette, President Bush made his "big entrance" by emerging from his campaign tour bus. |

bus tour started in Cleveland with a rally at 9:00 in the morning, followed by stops in
Kirtland Ohio and Erie PA.
A warm, humid day slowly changed to a light rain as the President delivered his speech.
