Antoinette was inspired to write Sleepy Angels by the loss of her father, Nicholas Tredanary, who passed away on Christmas day in 1985. WARNING: Have a big box of Kleenex handy when you listen to this song! Sleepy Angels has a haunting melody and some of the most powerful lyrics you will ever hear. There have been many songs written that say "goodbye" to a loved one who is dying, but Sleepy Angels was written from the perspective of the person who is dying, saying goodbye to a loved one left behind.
