Antoinette wrote "Alone on Christmas Day" as a loving tribute to her father, Nicholas Tredanary, who died on Christmas day, 1985. Nicholas Tredanary performed under the stage name of "Tony Trent", and was popular at Cleveland area clubs in the 50s and 60s. Antoinettes memories of her father are frequently reinforced by the musicians who remember working with him, and by a few 45 RPM recordings of his rich baritone voice. |
